Oatly, a Swedish oat milk brand has received $200 million from an investment group which includes Natalie Portman and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz.
The investment represents a 10% share of the company, and a spokesperson from Oatly said it will go toward expanding production and distribution all around the world.
Recently the demand for plant-based dairy alternatives have been increasing worldwide, and during the pandemic it has accelerated a lot.
Not only Oatly but other big brands such as Starbucks and Nestle have announced that soon they will launch almond and oat milk worldwide.
