NEWS - Pantone Reveals the Color for the year of 2023

Pantone has chosen the colour for next year. It’s called Viva Magenta.
It’s from the red family and it mixes both warm and cool tones.
According to Pantone it is "an unconventional shade for an unconventional time”, and it promotes optimism and joy.
Every December the Pantone Color Institute chooses a color which is supposed to represent the following year. This choice usually reflects the latest trends across several sectors such as fashion, technology, design, etc.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, said this shade is inspired by small insects called cochineals and their red color.
Eiseman also said: “as virtual worlds become a more prominent part of our daily lives, we look to draw inspiration from nature and what is real".
Pantone also announced that a new exhibition will open in Miami. It’s called "Magentaverse," and it’s about Artificial Intelligence and human creativity.
