History was made this week. The longest non-stop commercial flight ever operated by an Indian national airline was completed by a team of all-female Indian pilots.
It was a 17-hour-long flight which departed from San Francisco and arrived in Bengaluru.
This was the first flight directly connecting the Silicon Valley of the States with the Silicon Valley of southern India.
The team commented they were very proud for being able to participate in this historic flight, specially considering they are an all-women team.
They commented that for a long time they couldn’t get jobs because there were no offers for female pilots, but they believe that this flight will create more opportunities for women in aviation.
